Death Valley National Park Bridal Session

Death Valley is well known for being the hottest and driest location in the United States but don’t let that discourage your from choosing it as an elopement, engagement, or bridal session location. Especially in the winter months, the park is significant more mild and tourism is at an all time low.

Death Valley has several popular locations to check out for photo sessions! While many of those listed below are easily accessed by 2WD car, the magic really starts to happen when you begin accessing their over 700 miles of off road/4WD roads.

  • Artist Point
  • Badwater Basin
  • Mesquite Sand Dunes
  • Rhyolite Ghost Town
  • “The Racetrack”
  • Zabriskie Point
  • Dante’s View
  • Twenty Mule Team Canyon
  • Father Crowley Point
  • Natural Bridge
  • Mustard Canyon

If you’re lucky and mother nature blesses death valley with rain through the winter season, spring time can explode with a wondrous collection of wildflowers. This doesn’t happen every year but when it does, it’s a site to behold. Rain also leads to a spectacular site in Badwater Basin. Normally, this salt flat is dry and hard but the addition of just a bit of rain turns this into a gorgeous mirror.
